Semi Permanent Makeup
Semi Permanent makeup is a cosmetic technique which employs tattoos (permanent pigmentation of the dermis) as a means of producing designs that resemble makeup, such as eyelining and other permanent enhancing colors to the skin of the face, lips, and eyelids. It is also used to produce artificial eyebrows, particularly in people who have lost them as a consequence of old age, disease, such as alopecia totalis, chemotherapy, or a genetic disturbance, and to disguise scars and white spots in the skin such as in vitiligo. It is also used to restore or enhance the breast’s areola, such as after breast surgery.
Here at Emilias Everlasting Beauty we have perfected various techniques including Ombre(powdered 3d look), block and microblading.
We have treatments for eyebrows, scalp(to improve hair line), eyelids and lips.
If unsure don’t be shy and get in contact with us for free no obligation consultation.
*** Most commonly called semi-permanent cosmetics, other names include dermapigmentation, micropigmentation, and cosmetic tattooing, the latter being most appropriate since permanent makeup is applied under sterile conditions similar to that of a tattoo.
The Semi Permanent Makeup is always followed by these steps:
It is the first part of the whole process and usually is done as a part your initial treatment, but it can be done separately if you wish so. Because my aim is to listen to my client I will very carefully talk to you what you want to achieve through the treatment, as everyone is different (I never have had the same shape of eyebrow, lip contour and eye eyeliner) we my pencil or draw your eyebrows, lips or eyes eyeliner 100 times if needed until you are absolutely happy. During consultation you will sign your patient card; we will discuss your overall health conditions and then we go to the next step.
Firstly we apply the anaesthesia cream on the selected part being involved in the treatment and we allow it to work for 15-20 minutes to reduce your discomfort to the possible minimum. Using the specialist facial tattooing machine I gently and carefully apply the pigment to the dermis. You will feel a slight stinging. All needles should be new and sterile for each client, they will be opened in your presence. Straight after the treatment, the colour will likely look dark and shiny, and the surrounding tissue will be swollen and red. This will start to fade after 3-4 day. The whole process takes around 2.5-4 hours but it varies from person to person and it depends on your individual requirements. We will make breaks if you need them. Usually the colour is not perfect after the initial treatment. Semi Permanent Make Up procedure are the process which needs at least one touch up appointment to saturate more pigment where needed.
But, guess what? You’re not stuck with them forever. Ultrasound fat cavitation therapy is one of the latest aesthetic treatments that work to eliminate extra inches and achieve instant fat loss. Here are just a few of the many benefits to having ultrasound fat cavitation treatments.
Please make a note, that it is two stage treatments and a second appointment is needed 4-6 weeks after your first treatment. This is usually around 2 hour’s appointment to add more pigment to the brow area. This is because the area is healing, some parts may not hold as well as others and you may have a few patches that need more colour. This is completely normal and everyone heals differently. Whatever the case, it is crucial to cave the retouch appointment done.It is important that any retouch procedure will be performed no sooner than four weeks after the initial treatment. The minimum norm for follow-up appointment for lip procedure is six weeks due to the lips delicate nature. The distance time frames will vary depending on the health profile and age of the client, but these are good standards for consideration.
Unluckily not everyone is delighted with their permanent make up procedure that is done, also, I have met lots of ladies with poor application and this ends up needing to have it corrected. If you think your make up needs to be recovered, you may contact Emilia Everlasting Beauty for consultation and I may assist you in selecting the most suitable method of correction brows, lips or eyes. I am experienced in fixing unsuccessful permanent make ups, but unfortunately it`s not always possible to adjust it and laser removal may be your only option, it happens when the brows were not positioned correctly or if the colour is to dense.
Lots of salons out there charge customer extra, we do not practice that, price will be no more than usual.
The Permanent Make Up can be truly amazing if it is done correctly, it may change your every day for easier, save your money and time on applying make up every day, it will let you feel beautiful every minute of your life as it is all about this. Unfortunately there are a lot of untrained people offering substandard work at very low prices damaging our industry`s reputation and also causes frustration and expense to correct the make up to the client.
If you have had your Permanent Make Up done elsewhere and it does not reflect your expectations, do not hesitate to contact me for advice and possibility of corrective treatment.
Looking after your new permanent makeup is one of the most important parts of the process. If you don’t look after your treatment properly you have a higher chance of losing more pigment and shape. Each treatment has different instructions and is VITAL to follow in order to maintain optimal pigment and shape.
Your new eyebrows will be around 40-50% darker than normal for at least 2 weeks and this is completely normal. You might need to use a healing cream over the course of a week and I recommend Bepanthen. Use a rice-grain size amount for both brows (half the size for each brow). The cream should be barely noticeable on the skin and if there’s any excess, dab off with a lint-free tissue. Applying too much cream could result in suffocating your skin and delay healing. After the first 3 days, continue to moisturise with the cream morning and night. Do not put any makeup in your brows for at least 10 days while they’re healing. After your brows have healed, you will need to wear SPF protection in your brows so the pigment does not fade.
If you take showers rather than baths, ensure the room is well ventilated and limit your shower to 5 minutes. This is to ensure there is not too much steam or heat. If you need to wash your hair, this should be done in the bath.
Aftercare during the first 3 days for your new brows are crucial in order to reduce scabbing and retain pigment as well as shape.
After your procedure, ensure you dab your new brows with a lint-free tissue every few minutes for the rest of the day or until any oozing has stopped. This is to ensure that any Lymph is absorbed and prevent it from hardening.
Wash your brows with a mild anti-bacterial soap VERY GENTLY morning and night. Wash your hands and get a few damp cotton pads and gently wipe over your brows. Using your fingers, apply a very small amount of anti-bacterial soap and lightly sweep over your brows. Use more damp cotton pads to wipe away all traces of soap. Do NOT use any cleansing products that contain any acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA), or any exfoliants
The aftercare for eyeliner is completely different. Your eyes will appear slightly puffy and red, with possible minimal bruising for first 24 hours. Allow area to DRY HEAL. There will be a little swelling, but you can apply a cold compress to reduce this. DO NOT apply a frozen cold compress like ice, it must be refrigerator temperature. I like to use damp cotton pads that I placed in the fridge the night before.
DO NOT touch or apply make up on procedure area until scabbing has come off completely, as this will cause infection.
Avoid anything that causes excessive sweating, including workouts, saunas, steam room.
Avoid sun beds and sun until area is completely healed, then protect with SPF 50 sunblock at all times.
Keep hair away from area.
Keep hairspray and perfumes away from area.
DO NOT pick, peel or scratch scab that forms on the area.
Avoid smoking until area is completely healed
Avoid alcohol after the procedure.
It is normal for the colour to appear darker over the first couple of days, they will fade as the scabbing comes off, they will look patchy, the colour will sneak back between 4-6 weeks, and finally it will be time for your top up.
Colour will fade by 20-50% during the healing process and will not be fully healed before 4-6 weeks.
After a lip procedure, your lips WILL be swollen and sore for first couple of days.
Avoid hot drinks for first 24 hours and, if possible, drink through a straw.
Avoid salty and spicy foods for first few days.
KEEP LIPS LUBRICATED with aftercare cream.DO NOT let them dry out. The more they are lubricated, the less they will peel. I recommend applying the aftercare cream every 30 minutes for the first 3 days.

Slight itching or sensitivity is normal but if you experience burning, throbbing, increasing redness or there is a yellow, cloudy discharge with an unpleasant smell, contact me immediately and seek medical advice.
It is normal in the first couple of days for the colour to appear very dark, It will then appear much lighter or you may not be able to see the colour at all. The colour will reappear within four weeks.
If your colour maintains the darkness after 2 or 3 weeks, please let me know as this could be the result of hyper-pigmentation.
